MOC: ‘The Intrepid Trio’: Build your own Story

Explore the depths of the mysterious cave with the Intrepid Trio! In this “Build your own Story” set, you can construct a unique adventure for you and your minifigures. Ride up to the abandoned property with the cute red car, examine the old rickety fence and leaning ‘Keep Out’ sign, and marvel at the beautiful trees. Step into the highly detailed mountain pass as you approach the cave threshold. And once you enter, who knows what you’ll find…

To see inside, easily remove the tops of the cave to explore all the possibilities. Constructed using an 8×8 modular system, you can build your own exciting details–even traps! In the examples included, you’ll find a giant spider web, hidden treasure, cave formations, and crumbling rock (pull the pin to drop your minifigure into the rock). There are 12 total 8×8 sections–who knows what the adventurers could find!

Features:

  • Stylish red car
  • 3 unique minifigures
  • Leaning ‘Keep Out’ sign

MOC: Ragge Runarson’s Business Building

Back in the 80s Ragge Runarson was running a small computer software company. This is how his business building looked like.

Design

It is a highly detailed Modular Building that has a special design which I think could attract both younger and adult builders.

The model is composed by two facilities. The brown facility is where Ragge’s office was, and on the back there is a door that leads up to the roof of the office, where Ragge sometimes sat and drank his tea. The white cottage is the office where his employees worked.

Story

Businesses had been bad for Ragge Runarson in the increasingly desolate little town. Because of the current recession, sales had fallen drastically and all of his employees had to quit. It was with mixed feelings that he was standing at the window of the office building and looking out over his lifework.

He remembered how he so happily rode to work every morning on his red bicycle. And he remembered the now broken cement mixer which he would use to finish cementing the walkway to the white cottage.

But hopefully there would someday soon come someone who would be interested in buying the building, and then Ragge could start all over again!

MOC: Venetian Houses

The set adds a southern flair to every LEGO building collection. As a longtime fan of Venice I could not resist to add a picturesque bridge, a typical water canal and, of course, a gondola. And it could be the first modular set on shelves with direct access to the sea!
