MOC: Planetary Base

Here is the incredible Planetary Base! This base serves as both a research station, command base, and a waypoint for many ships, with refueling/recharging ports, giant double-sided radar dish with antennae, cargo truck (with wheels), small starfighter (Utility-class, but commonly known as the ‘Carrier Pigeon’) with opening cargo bay, entrance tracks up to the sliding doors, sliding airlocks on the inside, control center, armory, storage rooms, sleeping quarters, kitchen, tracks for the ship and truck, and opening exit hatch with folding ladder–all resting on a huge, sturdy stand built with large figure parts! Originally built for Brickster_Tim’s New World Explorer series, this is now being used for the Octan Corporation in the Andromeda galaxy.

MOC: U-Haul Moving Truck

The U-Haul Moving Truck was created for a LEGO City Vehicles contest a couple of years ago. While it is a fat, bulky thing, it has some pretty accurate details, including the orange stripes, the uhaul lettering, a pull-out loading ramp, and an opening back door. Also included is a couple of minifigures loading up a couch.

MOC: The HAC Cruiser

This giant ship was created for a LEGO Star Wars contest a long time ago (in a galaxy far far away). Dubbed Heavy Assault Carrier, it had a crew of one, but also had an opening cargo hold, opening troop bays (with room for four clone troopers), wings that slid into attack position, a firing missile in the front, and a barrage of flick-fire missiles.

“This was probably the first set in which I began to creatively use unusual parts in unusual ways: I used the Mars Mission air tube as a power link and for style.” – Brickster_Tim
