  1. Oh, they installed Microsoft Edge too for some reason. I haven’t had any probs with the chrome ads yet, I get a lot of Lego ads πŸ˜€ Yeah, I’ve really been enjoying my new-ish laptop, there were so many sites I couldn’t access that I can now because I have newer software. I keep having to remind myself that I can go on different sites where I couldn’t before πŸ˜€
I do have a coffee kiosk so I can totally add that! I got that special edition one from Target a couple of years ago, so it’ll be a perfect addition to the park!
I was really hoping that my Easter MOC would fit in when they post an Easter activity, but they had a build an Easter egg activity this week. Hopefully they’ll still post another Easter theme activity, I really want you to see what I built, it’s so cute!! πŸ˜€ In any case, I hope the activity will be a good one tomorrow, I’m really itching to build again!
Speaking of Easter, they’re going to have a Easter promo start tonight, it’s going to be a brick built carrot house with a brick built bunny! I’m going to get the Ideas Dino Fossils set for it, hopefully, everything’s been selling out so fast there πŸ˜€
I don’t know if you ever listened to the band AJR, but I’ve been on a AJR song kick lately! πŸ˜€ I guess it’s because their new album is coming out on the 26th! I’m thinking about pre-ordering it from Amazon, which I’m really excited about, but I’m not sure if I’ll get it on the day it’s released though.
Spring is continuing to spring here, we got both rain and sun here last week, so that means the grass is starting to grow like crazy πŸ˜€ I had to mow the field this week and I have a feeling again this next week! πŸ˜€ We’ve got some bulbs blooming now too, hyacinths and iris, so the yard is starting to get some color.
i hope everything’s going great your way and you and yours is healthy, happy and safe πŸ™‚

    • We must’ve talked a lot to have turned the page! πŸ˜€
I searched up the band AJR and listened to, and watched the video for ‘Bang’. It’s always nice to see brothers doing something together that they all enjoy, and are successful at it. I liked the song very much, and I hope you’ll be able to get their new album when it’s released.
The weather here has been really cold again, but sunny, so you’re fooled into thinking it’s warmer than it is! In fact we even had snow flurries the other day while the sun was shining!
I also hope that you can post your Easter MOC ~ I’m sure it’s fantastic!
The latest Activity I saw, is one for BrickHeads pets escaping from home. It’ll be interesting to see what people submit.
I hope you’ll be able to get the Dino Fossils set, and the promo that comes with it, as it sounds real cute!
Glad you’re enjoying your laptop and now can go to sites that you couldn’t before! πŸ™‚
Have a great week, Twiggy, and build something fun!

  2. HAPPY SPRING!!
Oh Bang’s a great song, I listen to that one a lot! My favorite, so far, is 100 Bad Days, I saw the video that they did for that song, it’s pretty cool! πŸ˜€
I was able to get the Dino Fossil set! The really cool part is they did the something really unusual, they had a last minute unannounced stack promo! The Amelia Earhart Tribute promo was extended, so I threw in a few more $ and got that and the Carrot House promos! I was planning to do both promos separately, but I opted to bypass the Tribute promo and just get the Easter promo, because Star Wars day is coming up fast. I’m so glad I decided to do that because I didn’t have to spend as much money to get both promos πŸ˜€ I went to Target and pre-ordered my AJR CD with some of the money I saved though!
It’s continuing to switch between rain and sun, so the grass is greening up really nice. Another sign spring is here, my duck is starting to lay eggs! It won’t be long before we start seeing baby deer grazing in our field. I took my dogs out for a walk today out in our field and the fruit trees are not only blossoming but buzzing with lots of bees.
Well, another activity has gone by that I didn’t enter, but I didn’t get any of the pet BrickHeadz so I couldn’t submit anything. Hopefully next week’s activity will be one that’ll inspire me to build something, I’m really itching to build a new MOC.
Have you started any new art projects? I was thinking about Nathan Sawaya today, wondering if he’s been creating any more Lego art. I’m still in awe of those that can create those large art sculptures out of Lego, I don’t know how they do it!
I don’t know if you heard, but Ideas announced that they’re going to release some of the not picked 10kers as sets over at, I think it’s called Bricklink(?) I saw the Robeanne has three or four in the running, including the boat diner and there’s a few more guys that I recognize in the running!
I hope everything’s great with you and yours! Be healthy, happy and safe Catz πŸ™‚

    • Good morning, Twiggy!
I recognized several of those projects in the Bricklinks Invitational as ones I’d supported back in the day. It would be great to see those creators get their models made for sale, finally! It seems it’s never too late to get recognition for awesome Ideas projects.
That’s really cool that your duck is laying eggs! They’re a bit larger than chicken eggs, and equally as delicious!
Hope your fruit trees provide you with a good harvest later on. We don’t seem to have any luck with the new trees we planted a few years ago ~ they’ve all died, and we don’t know WHY! 😦
I’m sure Nathan Sawaya is holed up in his studio still building huge fantastic sculptures. I’m really glad I was able to go to one of his exhibits and see some of them in person. Photos don’t do them justice!
I saw the Easter promo in an email to VIPs. Happy that you were able to get 2 different promos ~ a bigger bang for your bucks!
The deer stay here all Winter, but in the Spring there are does with their fawns that start appearing, and are so cute!
Have a great weekend, and get busy building a new MOC!

  3. I got my Dino fossil set a few days back and put it together. It’s really cool, lot of sculpting type building and it’s amazing how they were able to get all the “holes” details that skeletons have that they did. They’re a really nice size, just right for shelf sitting, which I have no idea where to put them because my shelves are full πŸ˜€ I had to take them apart and put them back into the box until I figure out how to display them.
I got the two promos too and they’re both really awesome! They really stepped up and hit the ball out of the park with the carrot house. The whole build is just really cool and the stickers they made to add a lot of cute detail to it. The Amelia Earhart tribute was cool too, the build for the plane is amazing and with the stand is going to make a really nice display piece.
I can’t believe that Easter is just one week away, it seems like it came so fast! I guess the next holiday after that will be Star Wars day and after that will be that long stretch until Halloween πŸ˜€
The deer usually beat us to the fruit that gets produced on out trees. We have a really large apple tree in the middle of our field that was a volunteer. It’s a really cool tree, it’s really natural looking, not your conventional trunk and the branches sort of make an umbrella type effect. I’ve gone in and trimmed the branches so one can go inside under the branches, like a secret hideout. The deer absolutely love it and spend the summer hiding under the tree’s branches, and they love all the apples the tree produces πŸ˜€
Didn’t do any building this week, my duck hasn’t been feeling well for the past few days. She sometimes hurts her leg and I have to put her in a tub of warm water so it takes the pressure off of her leg and lets it heal. But she hasn’t been eating so I don’t know if something else is going on too. Hopefully she’ll be feeling better this morning, I’ve been really worried last night about her because I don’t think she’s eaten anything yesterday at all 😦
Hopefully this week will turn out to be a great one, I hope it will be awesome for you guys! Stay safe, healthy and happy Catz

  4. Great news, today my duck is feeling a lot better, her appetite is coming back and I’ve been letting her soak in a tub outside to relive the stress on her leg and she’s walking better now! πŸ˜€ Won’t be long before she’s back to her old self again, YAY!

    • I was really happy to hear that your duck is doing better, and I hope she continues that trend! Having a pet that’s ill is so worrisome. 😦
The Dino Fossil set sounds incredible and the promos seem to have pleased you as well. Too bad you had to put them back in the boxes due to the ‘I have no room to display anything’ issue that we all suffer from! πŸ˜€
I’m not sure what you meant by that apple tree being a volunteer ~ but it sounds beautiful and makes a great place for the deer to stay in the shade, and have a snack, too! I don’t mind that the deer eat the apples, but I do wish they’d take more than one bite before moving on to the next!
We have to go out and throw all the partially eaten ones into the woods constantly, as they just rot on the lawn, and attract bees and ants. 😦
The weather has been rainy and somewhat cool lately, but I do think Spring is just around the corner.
HAPPY APRIL FOOL’S DAY! Have a great weekend Twiggy.

  5. HAPPY EASTER

Ikr! It was great to see AWI on Ideas again, her project was so cute!

    https://bricksafe.com/pages/Twiggy9997/easter-bunny

Well, since they didn’t have an activity that I could’ve submitted my Easter MOC, I don’t want to wait for a year for you to see it so I thought I’d post it for you to see. I kicked up my building style, I figured out how to make not only the one ear bend at the tip but to tip forward too. I also was able to construct it so the head can move, it can tilt to the one side or be straight. This is something inspired by my dog, he not only has one bent ear but when he’s sitting up and begging, he tilts his head to one side to up the cuteness factor πŸ˜€ Oh, I also made the arms like how my dog has his when he’s begging too.

I hope you and yours have just an awesome Easter!

    • Happy Easter to you too Twiggy!
I looked at your bunny and it’s too adorable! The bent ear and tilted head adds so much cute!!
Your dog must know how his cute appearance affects you ~ maybe he gets more treats!?
A beautiful sunny day and not too cold today. The daffodils are blooming all around the yard ~ it’s great to see a real touch of Spring color again! πŸ™‚
Someone on Ideas built a toilet as their project, and it reminded me of one I’d seen on there a long time ago. Quite funny~ do you remember when AWI made the toilet paper holder? And the big discussion of whether ‘over’ or ‘under’ was the best way to put the roll on it. πŸ˜€
Have a great day and enjoy your Easter. πŸ™‚

  6. I remember that project of AWI, that was a great one, the conversations we all had about it was so much fun! πŸ˜€
Well, I’ve got some sad news, my duck passed away a few days ago. She went downhill pretty fast, so at least she wasn’t uncomfortable for very long.
I had a wonderful Easter though, ate one bag of jelly beans already πŸ˜€ I guess the next holiday before the long stretch to Halloween will be Star Wars Day! I’m actually looking forward to it this year, which I didn’t think I would. I heard a rumor of what the promo will be for Lego and it’s suppose to be the Lars homestead display, which ties in with other SW promos from last year.
I’ve been so busy looking after my duck for the past few weeks, I hadn’t had any time to build, but I started again yesterday. I made some AJR minifigs along with some of their music instruments, so I can put them into my holiday village this year. I also built one AJR brickheadz, Ryan, and I’m trying to build the other two, but it’s harder with them because of the facial hair πŸ˜€
I hope you had a wonderful Easter! I’m so glad to hear that your daffs are blooming! Do you plant a garden or anything like that?

    Like

    • Oh, Twiggy, I’m so sorry to hear about your duck ~ she must’ve had more health issues than just her leg. She’s in a better place now, playing in warm puddles with other ducks, and I’m sure she’s grateful for all your loving care of her.
Jelly beans should be outlawed for being so delicious and addictive! πŸ˜€
Those AJR minifigs should be a fun addition for your holiday village. Good luck building the 2 Brickheadz that have facial hair! When you get all 3 finished, post a link so I can see them, please. πŸ™‚
I think Ideas is doing a Spring Activity ~ you could most definitely come up with a submission for it!
We just have a few flower gardens around the yard that bloom every year. We got very lazy and stopped having a vegetable garden after decades of having one. Now it’s easier to just buy our vegetables instead. πŸ˜›
The weather can’t seem to get full-on into Spring yet. It’s only in the 40’s today, with scattered showers.
Do you plan to get the SW promo? Have you found more display space?? πŸ˜€
Still can’t draw on my pixel site, so I’m currently creatively stymied. At least there are plenty of things to watch on Netflix!
Guess that’s it for now. Have a great week and keep building! πŸ™‚

  7. I haven’t found much more space, the space I’ve been finding, I’ve been using to display my MOCs that I’ve built for the activities. Thank you so much for the comment for my BY activity! I went to Ideas to look at something and I saw that there was only 1 day left, so I decided to submit something on the spur of the moment, I just wanted to join in on the fun of SW Day πŸ˜€ I had so much fun photographing BY but it was so bright out, I couldn’t see the screen when I was taking the pics, I had to keep running in to download to see what I got πŸ˜€
I saw the new activity this morning, I was hoping to be able to tell you, YAY, I’m going to submit something, but Idk, that kind of building I find hard, but I do like a challenge, so I’m going to try.
I found this weird looking lizard by our barn yesterday, and we have lizards here but this guy looked nothing like ones I’ve seen. I captured him up and released him down at the end of our field in some blackberries, I felt like the Croc Hunter! I tried looking him up and I think he’s a Southern Alligator Lizard…which now I really feel like the Croc Hunter, Crickey! πŸ˜€

    • That’s a cool looking lizard you found! You’re definitely the CA Crock Hunter! We don’t have any in my state ~ the closest species are the several types of salamanders, but they have smooth thin skin, not scales. And I haven’t seen any for years, but I don’t go looking for them, either! They hide under fallen leaves in the woods.
I found a tiny baby turtle in my barn one Summer ~ the size of a quarter. I thought it was a plastic kids toy at first! I brought it down to the brook we had running along the bottom front of our yard, and released it there. There were lots of snapping turtles around at the time I found it, and the females would lay their eggs in the yard. We had to be careful when mowing the lawn to not run them over! Unfortunately the small swampy pond that fed into the brook has dried up, and we no longer have the turtles visiting us. 😦
Can’t wait to see your Spring activity build ~ hope you can find the time to do it!
Have a great rest of the week and an even better weekend. πŸ˜€

  8. Thank you so much for the awesome comment! You hit the nail right on the head and what I was going for, that he uses his cuteness to lure his meal closer πŸ˜€ I was inspired by JP, I remember those little dinos looking all cute and innocent and the unlucky guy would get too close and then they would attack!
Btw, did you see that AWI entered the Decorate the House contest? It’s so great seeing her posting again!

I checked out that hero link. Definitely a cool site, but not something I’d be interested in doing. If you could show me one that you made, that’d be great.

  11. HAPPY STAR WARS DAY!!

Wow, I’ve been seeing a lot of the upcoming summer lego sets this week and there are some really cool looking ones! The one I’m most excited about is one from the Creator 3-in-1 line, it’s a
Ferris Wheel! I thought since they haven’t had any fairground sets for a while now they were done with them, but I guess they’re not πŸ˜€ It’s really cool looking, it has a brick built sun in the center, with the rays being the spokes. I’m going to get that one for sure to go with my other ones, the pirate roller coaster and ufo carrousel!
Oof, I was really hoping that this week activity would have been one I was really excited about and had an idea about, but I don’t :/
I’ve been doing a lot of yard work this week, trying to get the last remaining traces of last fall onto the burn pile before the heat of summer comes which by the feel of things isn’t too far away!
Well, like I started this, It’s May the 4th, which is Star Wars day! πŸ˜€ I haven’t planned on anything today to do for it, but that might change, Idk.

    • MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU!

That Ferris Wheel sounds perfect for your amusement park build. My minifig would never get off of it ~ except to go to the coffee kiosk of course!
I can’t believe the number of projects that have to be reviewed this time. 57!! I don’t envy the Lego Review Board at all. And the number of disappointed creators when their model didn’t pass muster. 😦
Lots of rain here, but I do believe Spring has finally arrived! The apple trees are blooming, and the lilacs are budding, soon to fill the air with their wonderful scent, and beautiful flowers.
Whenever you get the amusement park built, I’d love to see a pic of it!
Have a great rest of the week, Twiggy. Stay safe, happy & healthy!

  12. Oh I’ll definitely send you some pics of the amusement park. I’ve got the rollercoaster and UFO ride put together, I need to add all the accessories to it and minifigs, it’s really sparse compared to my holiday village πŸ˜€
I saw this morning that they are going to have Monica’s apartment. The set is so big, I mean, it’s the whole apartment and it’s very long, making it probably be very hard to display!
I haven’t had any luck getting any activities that has inspired me to build, but I have tried something new! I got an updated browser so I can use the digital builders now and I’ve been practicing digitally building over at Mecabricks. I’m really surprised, building that way is a lot different than building in real brick. It’s a lot harder than I thought, not just in figuring out what all the different buttons do, but in the way you build, I have a whole new respect for digital builders.

    Like

    • I commend you for trying your hand at digital building! I’m sure that once you learn the system you’ll do great at it. It certainly saves money, not having to buy a lot of new bricks, or having to tear down an existing model to make something new, that you’re unsure will be what you wanted. And you can keep trying different angles or views more easily. But I do think that people who submit digital projects to Ideas should build it for real as well. After all, the whole idea behind Lego is that building is a hands-on experience.
Can’t wait to see your amusement park ~ the sets you’ve already put together sound awesome!
Practically the weekend again ~ time really does fly! Have a great one and get outside to enjoy the weather. πŸ™‚

  13. Yeah tbh, now trying digital building, I prefer building in real brick. It just seems like I coordinate to it better and I have something to put out to display when I’m done. I’ve pretty much kept every MOC I’ve built, except for my garden activity, that sort of got picked apart for pieces, although I still have the cherry tomato plants and scarecrow together. I have my salt and pepper mice displayed on our microwave, they look right at home in the kitchen πŸ˜€
I got slammed this week with un-fun stuff so I haven’t had any time to do much of anything. My neighbor did hire me to mow his place and paid me way more than I had asked for. I’m so happy getting this money, there are so many sets I want to get, so this helps out a lot. Right now, I’m thinking about that Elf Clubhouse, that has been pretty much sold out since it’s been released, so I might get that with the money if I can. Hopefully I finished up everything yesterday and I’ll have time to do some fun things now.

    Like

    • I’m really not surprised that you like building models in bricks rather than digitally ~ you’re much more of a hands-on creator. Hope you can find some time soon to do something new. Your little mice must look adorable in the kitchen, as it’s a perfect place to display them!
My neighbor is going away on vacation for a week, and asked me to take care of her 2 cats ~ just feeding them twice a day and making sure they have water and a clean litterbox to use. I’ve done this several times over the years, and don’t mind doing it for her.
Hope you’re able to get the Elf Clubhouse. I saw on the Ideas Homepage that RangerGilan posted a project called Elf Haven, and it’s doing very well. He was one of the people I knew from years ago when I was more active. Most of the projects are being done by folks I’m unfamiliar with, so it was nice to see someone I recognized!
Have a great rest of the week, Twiggy!

  14. Oh my word, pet sitting is so much fun! My neighbors, before they moved away, used to go to Alaska for the summer. They had two old pomeranians that the trip would be just too hard on them to take, so they’d hire me to take care of them while they were gone. I can’t believe that I got paid for taking care of and playing with dogs, it was really fun to do.
I didn’t do any MOCs this week, but I did try out something else. My friend Mac has been setting up scenes and taking pics of his minifigs. He looked like he was having so much fun, it became contagious and made me want to try.
I remembered an activity that someone did over at Ideas, where they put the minifig underwater and they sprinkled baking powder on top, it would make it look like it was snowing. I thought I would try that first, using my snow queen minifig, but I quickly found out that it’s hard to sprinkle it on top and take the pic, pretty much at the same time because the powder would fall pretty fast. It really needs two people to take that kind of shot.
I tried another pic though, I used my elf maiden one for the shot and created sort of a mythical forest with ruins. It’s no where near as good as Mac’s are, but I was just experimenting anyways. Mac actually helped me on the pic, he put it in a editor and cleaned it up a bit, he was going to do more stuff to it, but hasn’t gotten to it yet, but I thought I’d show it to you anyways.
Keep in mind, the entire scene is actually built underwater, I don’t know why I did it that way, the scene isn’t supposed to take place underwater, it just made it look cool I guess. It made it harder to set up though…Lego floats O_O I had to attach lego pieces to every element so I could anchor them under the sand πŸ˜€
    https://bricksafe.com/pages/Twiggy9997/minifig-pics
I’ve also been doing something else with Mac. I’ve been watching the Lord of the Rings triology, which Mac is really into Tolkien, so we’ve been having fun talking about the movies after I’ve seen each one. I just finished The Return of the King last night, I still have to watch the Hobbit movies, which will be the next ones.
I got a lot of that un-fun stuff done last week, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I’m so looking forward to putting that behind me.
It’s getting so hot here, 110 predicted to hit in the next few days! How are things your way? Have you been doing any new projects or crafts?
I hope things are going great for you and yours and that you’re all doing well!

    • Unfortunately I hardly even see her cats let alone have fun with them. They hide when they hear me come in! The only way I know that they’re ok is because the food I put out for them is gone the next time! I was hoping it would be different this time, as the first day one of them was all stretched out on a chair and didn’t run away ~ but the morning after she was hiding again. πŸ™„
My neighbor said they are very shy with people they don’t know, so I understand. With the pandemic keeping people from visiting each other, we only got to talk outside or on the phone.

That set up you did with the Elf maiden looks terrific! Maybe you could ask your mom to sprinkle the baking powder so you could take the pic of the Snow Queen? You’ve been trying a lot of new things lately ~ that’s a great way to keep interested and still be involved with Lego. πŸ™‚

I haven’t watched the LOTR movies for ages. They were so well done and it was fantastic to see all the beautiful locations they were shot on. The people who created all the different costumes, the interiors of the homes, and the weapons used in the movies were extremely talented! Peter Jackson did a great job with his whole crew. You must be enjoying yourself and having fun with Mac discussing them.

It’s been raining and cold again here ~ had to put the furnace on today to keep my fingers from turning blue! πŸ˜€ Send a little of your hot weather in this direction, please! πŸ™‚

Have a nice weekend and a better new week, with more free time.

  15. I’m so happy you got to see my bunny finally! I thought for the activity though, I really needed to build a new base for her. I originally had a base very similar to the one that my baby dino has. They haven’t posted the activity for this week yet, but I’m hoping it’ll be another one I’ll be able to do!
Well, summer hit here that’s for sure, it got up past 100 for several days last week! It was good for my really small garden I planted though. I was so surprised, I planted one tomato seed, from a packet that was expired. I kept watering the hill but saw nothing, and finally decided that the seed was just too old to grow. But a day later, I was in a different part of my garden and look toward the area and lo and behold, I had a plant growing in the container, it was way off to the side though! I have absolutely no idea how I missed seeing it, I guess I was concentrating on the hill in the center so much when I was watering, I didn’t think about that the seed could have washed away to a different area. The plant is doing quite well, growing noticeably bigger each day. I have a couple of pumpkin plants too and they’re thriving as well.
I cleaned out some stuff I had stored this weekend, and when I was looking through it, I found a couple of choose your own adventure books! I thought this could make for some summer fun for me and my discord friends. I fixed a server I’m on with channels and role reactions and transcribed the book. It works really well, just like how it was intended, you come to a part of the story where you have to choose what to do and you click on a reaction emoji for your choice. That gives you a role which unlocks a channel for the next part of the story you choose. The story has 11 different endings, so one can read it several times. One of my friends liked it so much, he’s trying to write an original choose you own adventure!
I watched The Hobbit last week, that was so good, a lot better than I thought it was going to be! I had fun talking to Mac about it, he knows a lot about Middle Earth, so it was great to have him to answer questions I had and discuss scenes. I often send him LotR memes and I told him now that I’m seeing the movies, I’m totally understanding them now πŸ˜€
I’m doing my best to send some of our warm weather your way, we have plenty to spare! I hope everything’s been going awesome your way and you and yours is doing great!

    • Those ‘choose your own adventure’ books sound great for aspiring authors to do some fun & interesting stories! I hope your friend can do an original one and will share it with you when it’s finished!

Your garden seems like it’s doing well ~ I’ve seen on the news that drought is a real issue out West. We get some rain occasionally but never enough to really soak the ground or make the sump pump need to run ~ a few years ago our cellar would get flooded so we put in the pump.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the Hobbit and other Middle Earth movies, and can now understand the memes you’ve been sending to Mac! πŸ˜€ People on Ideas are still building LoTR projects and probably will forever! It’s the type of thing that will always be popular.

Have a terrific weekend, Twiggy! Hope you are well and happy. πŸ™‚

  16. Yes, we’re going through a pretty bad drought here. We live close to the river, so we don’t think our well will go dry…hopefully.
I did some building over the past week. I got the idea of trying to build a raccoon! It was pretty hard to do. Not for the build itself, it looks a lot like my other animals I’ve done, but the coloring detail was a challenge. The black mask for one, I’m having a hard time getting it to look where I like it. Raccoons also have a bit of white on their face, so it was hard adding that detail just right. I actually built two of them, sort of, I built a display scene with them. The scene is that one raccoon is sticking his head up out of a trash can, old lettuce leaves stuck to his face and a pizza box on top of his head πŸ˜€ Old veg is scattered onto the ground along with…a couple of stale doughnuts! The other raccoon has picked up a doughnut and is eating on it. I’m going to title it “Did someone say doughnuts?!” I just ordered the doughnut pieces last night, so they won’t be here for about a month, so I really hope an activity doesn’t pop up that I could use this for in the meantime!
It’s still been very hot here, the temp hit 110 last week and is going to do the same this week. My garden continues to do well. I only have a couple of plants so it’s an easy keeper and I use the left over water that I have left over when I’m putting water out for my barn cats, so that’s good for the drought.
Everyone seems to have enjoyed the book and I just released another one. I’m still cleaning out stuff in storage, and I’ve found a couple more along with something that I was hoping to find! I found my Hobbit book! It’s a vintage copy, from 1966, my mom’s always buying old books for me and this one came from our town’s public high school library. I haven’t read it, but I finished the last movie last week, so I’m going to start to read it now.
Well, I guess the first day of summer started yesterday, YAY! I hope things are going great for you guys! Stay safe Catz πŸ™‚

    • Your raccoon scene sounds so adorable and I can’t wait to see it! They are little rascals and get into everything! We even think they managed (somehow) to unscrew the lid on the food garbage bucket we have in the barn ~ And we thought we’d come up with an animal-safe way to dispose of it until it gets thrown in the town dump!
The weather here has been quite hot, but no where near the heat you’re enduring. And the temps have been very comfortable at night, so i have no complaints at this point.
Glad to hear that your garden is doing well and that you’re conserving water ~ so important right now with the drought still ongoing.
That’s great that you have a vintage copy of The Hobbit ~ i hope you enjoy reading it! Does it still have the school library’s paper insert glued onto the back inside cover, that recorded when people ‘borrowed’ the book? That’s an interesting look into the past. πŸ™‚
Have a great rest of the week, Twiggy and stay safe and cool! πŸ™‚
