This is the new Lego House under construction in Billund, Denmark.

“Fascinated by the architecture of the building, I built my first LEGO Architecture set and a colorful version of this. I know it gives the LEGO set 4000010, but I think it must give a colorful set of this building, because LEGO is so colorful. My set shows the colorful life of LEGO. I hope I can enjoy the building soon in real life.” – AWI2345

The building has a variety of functions: tourist attraction, LEGO store, public art piece, cafe, and with roughly 20,000 sqare feet set aside for open space–just somewhere people can hang out. The building of the real house started in June 2014. In 2017, the building is to be finished.
